1971 Kawasaki A7SS Avenger -- My friend was the original owner.

My friend recently passed away   I purchased this bike from his family.  It will be a permanent addition to my collection.  It has slightly more than 4,000 miles on it.  The plan is to clean her up real good, get her running great, and ride her.

  1. that is a dream bile. it has so much style. that bike has to be worth 1 million dollars . it should be displayed in an art museum. you could clean and polish that bike up then get some pics of it next to a waterfall parked in a field with wild flowers and feature it in a vintage motorcycle magazine. I'm excited about this bike for you.

  3. I have this same bike and just got it running last weekend. Had sat in a barn for 30 years before that. I have a question for you. Could you post a picture of the ignition cover that is on the left side behind the pipes? Mine is missing and the cover I purchased off Ebay does not fit. It is flat and must be for the bikes with points because on my bike with the CDI ignition the screw on the center of the rotor sticks out too far for the flat chrome cover to snug down. No parts diagram I have found shows an alternate cover so I am hoping to see on an actual 1971 A7SS what the cover should look like. dougpdx at comcast dot net.
