Honda SL 125 custom MX at Portland International Raceway Vintage Daze Motocross
Great Bikes, lost one on a Divorce along with several other motorcycles. God, I miss those bikes, she just did it out of meanness, got a pre-nup the next time.
Where'd you get the fenders and tank , I cantfind any I like online and there's no custom shops around me.I know this is a old post but I'd greatly appreciate it if you reply
The sprocket size depends on what you want to do with the bike. A bigger rear sprocket will lower the gearing (more low end pulling power, less top speed). A smaller rear sprocket will do the opposite. It also depends on what's been done to the motor. A stock SL100 doesn't put out much power so you'll be limited on top end if you go with a sprocket that is too large.
Sorry, but it's not my build. I just snapped the photo years ago. I can't help at all with the jetting. The kick-starter looks like it could be off a first gen Honda 125 Elsinore (CR125)
One bad scoot
ReplyDeleteHad one of these, it was my 1st bike. Nicely done!

Deletefirst things first I love your build. I was wondering what jetting you use on the carb and where could I get one of those kick-starters on the bike
