1979 Yamaha YZ250 on display at the 2014 Idaho Vintage Motorcycle Show -- Caldwell
The owner fabricated many of the parts himself including the tank, pipe swingarm, and intake carb spigot.
It's not my bike and I had nothing to do with the fabrication. I just posted because I was so impressed by the craftsmanship. Hopefully the owner will read this and provide an update.
Awesome bike! Where can I get an angled rubber carb to intake connector like the one shown in the second photo? I made the aluminum part but I need the rubber connector. Where can we see more pics of this bike? Thanks.
Anonymous, I have several vintage, evolution and revolution yz's and I'm looking for someone to build some special parts and pieces. Trent in Boise 208-412-7606

ReplyDeleteI thermo formed the airbox cover with ABS plastic, and the number plates with HDPE plastic. Thanks.
