1962 Yamaguchi YMB for sale at the 2016 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
that is a VERY cool bike. it looks like it can be detailed a bit better with some deep cleaning and polish and wax. I love it. it would be a great bike to have
did they import Yamaguchi into the USA? I wouldn't even start that bike. it needs to be detailed then displayed as art and never risk riding it at all. think of it as a full size model of a motorcycle instead of a bike to start and ride down the street.
Yes in California in the 60s they sold a 50cc Yamaguchi SPB Scrambler. To make a long story short they filled a warehouse full of 80cc engines then went out of business. That's where Hodaka came from.

I don't know if Yamaguchi's were ever imported to the U.S. Hopefully someone with knowledge of the brand will post here.
