1981 Yamaha XS1100 Midnight Special on display at 2015 "The Meet" -- Tacoma, Wa.
this bike might be original, detailed in great condition. I imagine a middle aged guy buying the more expensive Midnight Special 1100 in 1981 and not riding it to death, only on nice days, every once and awhile, keeping it clean and dry in the garage for all these years. whereas a young guy might buy a cheaper model and ride it to death. who am I, Detective Columbo ?
that bike is in great shape with all that black chrome. I wonder if it is original or if they had to restore it. it looks great
ReplyDeleteDon't know if the bike is original or restored, but I heard that black chrome is difficult to get right.
