1969 Yamaha YR3 -- Selected Best Yamaha at 2016 "The Meet" -- Tacoma, Wa.
exciting twin cylinder with perfect extra 1969 type style that is in imbecile condition and exhilarating to gaze upon. if it was painted turquoise silver metal flake I would freak out
After the R3 (YR3) came the R5 which was basically a RD350 without reed valves. There were no R4 s because that is a bad luck number in Japanese culture- So the YR bikes really were the beginning of the Yamaha 2 stroke 'Giant Killers'
