2004 Honda CB50R sold for $9,000 at the 2017 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
This little 49cc single cylinder motor has double-overhead cams, four valves, and a six speed gearbox. It makes 7hp at 14,000 RPM with a top speed around 70mph. Wow!
Just a little jewel of a bike, heard one a few years ago at Mallory Park, somehow he had been put into our group for the Classic race bikes at the Festival of a 1000 bikes, sounded amazing but the poor bloke was way out of his depth! 7bhp against the average 50 odd but of the bikes the rest of us were riding, how no one hit him up the arse I don't know!
