1957 Husqvarna MX sold for $4,000 at the 2017 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
I am still kicking myself for not buying this Husky. It was part of Gerrit Wolsink's (yes, the five-time USGP 500cc champion) personal collection.
the front end is so wonderful. 1957 Husqvarna. Gerrit Wolsink owned. that bike would look great displayed at bike bike shows with your other bikes. we don't see 1957 Husqvarnas there can't be very many in the world, has to be very rare. if a guy had $4000 to spend on a bike and went to the Honda dealer he could maybe get a new CRF150. or he could have that museum Husqvarna parked in his living room to gaze upon. Wolsink won the USGP five times? holy shit.
