1982 Yamaha TZ250J Road Racer sold for $15,000 at the 2017 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
Just so nice O.M.D, love the Yamaha TZ 'strokers, used to drool over them through the shop window at Granby Motors, (Granby Jack's) in Ilkeston, (I'llson youth for us local's!) not sure I would trust those Dymag wheels if they are original though, 35 year old magnesium is probably not the most stable material! ( sure they came fitted with wire wheels as standard? May be wrong, probably am..........)
I was not a fan of the TZs in my younger days. I usually rooted for the underdog and the TZs were definitely not the underdog. Now looking back I can appreciate the relative simplicity and yet they were so fast.
