right before the race started you could have released some sleeping gas

then put his helmet and riding gear on and
do the race on his bike. after you got last place and lapped 11 times,
you ride the bike straight back through the van, change back into your street clothes then blended back into the crown of spectators.
the rider would start to come back to from his drugged sleep without any recollection of what happened. that's what you should of done.
