1972 Carabela Caliente sold for $1,650 at the 2019 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
$1,650 is low price for such a rare beautiful stylish bike like that. if it had sold for $5,500 I would think that would be a good fair solid deal. if it sold for $13,500 I would not of been surprise in the least bit.
I must have been busy with something else when this came up for sale. else I would have bid on it. A great deal, and a beautiful bike. Made in Mexico, so it would probably will self destruct the first time it was ridden.

DeleteMy brother had one back in the day. Went like hell when it ran.
Deletethey say only 3 Carabelas exist today because they all blew up the first time ridden.
ReplyDeleteusually killing the rider.
