1968 Norton P11 Desert Sled on diplay at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum -- Birmingham, Alabama
That's Mike Patrick's 1968 and 1969 California AMA District 37 desert racing overall championship winning bike. That is why the plate is #1. I worked in his Yamaha dealership and in 1980 got it running and rode it behind the shop. No front wheel lofting here, just plow through any and everything.
