1975 1/2 Maico MX/GP brochures
Came across these papers. One lists the 250MX. The other shows the range of GP models. Not sure what or if there is a difference. But this is from 45 years ago and the memory fades over time.
interesting about the S&W shocks and mounts. never knew about that. I bet it was a USA only thing. in Europe they probably used different shocks. I dunno.
I'm sure it was a USA only thing. The distributors back then were independent of the manufacturers and sold all sorts of aftermarket parts. I'm sure the aftermarket was another revenue stream for the distributors.
see if you have any literature of Kramer framed Maico. there was a Krammer frame Maico without motor or tank or seat on craigslist Seattle several years ago. like a mono shock that uses two regular assed shocks. I suppose they are Kramer motorcycles, that used Maico motors and forks... I dunno.

DeleteI looked in my files and there's nothing on the Kramer frame. I'll be looking a little closer at craigslist now.
