A Blog about Motorcycles. Also at www.OldMotoDude.Com, on the OldMotoDude YouTube channel, and Pinterest. The motorcycles are mostly vintage, but really anything that catches my eye. 99.99% of the content on this blog is original material. Comments are always welcome. very cool
ReplyDeleteI have an American eagle frame and am trying to identify the numbers as to what model it belongs to. Have you got any frame number info on these rare bikes?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. I have no information on this brand. I spent some time on the InterWeb and found out that American Eagle was started by John "Jack" McCormack after he left U.S. Suzuki. American Eagle were rebadged Laverdas, ItalJets, and Kawasakis, so you may be able to cross reference frame numbers from these bikes and discover what you have.
DeleteI bought one of these when I got out of the Navy in 1969. My first taste of motocross. My 1969 was identical to this one except it had a blue tank. Wish I had it today...
ReplyDeleteI have this exact one. Pop bought it new. Still has original rubber.
ReplyDeleteLast ridden in early 70s. Huntington Beach, Ca.
Great bikes. Fantastic that you still have your Dad's.
