ReplyDeleteit can be detail cleaned better, removing stains, brighting the metals and polishing the painted parts. waxed. the seat, tires, plastics and rubber parts could then get some Armor All. new fuel lines and hoses. I would probably paint the fiberglass if it was mine. imagine a mustard yellow in metal flake or Maico orange looking metal flake. $1150, lol.
ReplyDeleteI rode one of those back in the day, up till then it was the best bike I had ever ridden. Our shop sold Maicos. The owner’s son was going to start race it. I tell you why it was the only 125 we ever got in and why they are so rare. The crank shaft would snap right off behind the magneto. The only fix was a new crank and the odds of the new one breaking was pretty high. Nice bike, but high maintenance like a blonde headed runway model.
