1986 Honda TLR200 Reflex on display at the St. Francis Motorcycle Museum -- Kansas
I had a Reflex. I would really love to have that bike now. I made a red seat cover it. theReflex had a very quiet muffler and you could sneak up on people. you had to stand up on the bike a lot because of the seat and tank shape was cramped and narrow. but nonetheless a fun bike to ride in first gear around the yard and pretend you are in a serious trials event until you fall over like a goof.
$3000 is a very fair price if it's alright. I would refoam the seat into a thicker and taller shape for old guy comphort. 3 inch taller handlebars so you can sit up straighter. remove all the street parts and remove the battery. it has nice chrome wheels. the orange frame is beautiful. a highmount skinny Preston Petty fender would look nice. use skinny motocross tires. put an even larger rear sprocket so you can really putt around the yard between the yard knomes and tulips. I would rather have that XL75 in the next post. it's like a street legal XR75 but with nicer paint and plastics and tank decals. the XR75 has a very nice looking exhaust. a very desirable bike to me. http://instanttractiondeluxe.blogspot.com/2018/04/seen-on-dirty-ol-oldmotodude-blog.html
