1970 Norton Mercury sold for $9,900 at the 2019 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
Was not built in 1970. Featherbed frame production finished in 1967, they did build a few in 1968, after they found some Featherbed frames still in the warehouse. I had one of those, an Atlas.
Thanks for the info. Mecum had it listed as a 1970. Probably sat on the sales floor and didn't sell until 1970, so that's what the title shows. Just guessing.
