    One heck of a machine. I put over 100,000 miles on mine. Sold it for $75 in '59 when I went into the Navy. Hershel Curtis, Harley dealer in Sheffield, Alabama, was going to order a 100,000 pin for me, but died while I was in Boot Camp. Just knowing I earned it is enough.

    Great story. 100,000 miles is quite an achievement. You must have gotten to know the little Harley pretty well.
