A Blog about Motorcycles. Also at www.OldMotoDude.Com, on the OldMotoDude YouTube channel, and Pinterest. The motorcycles are mostly vintage, but really anything that catches my eye. 99.99% of the content on this blog is original material. Comments are always welcome. Folding Shift Lever and Aluminum Bar Ends for my Ducati Scrambler
I was inside a grocery store with helmet in one hand and a small bag of groceries in the other when a lady came in and asked if the yellow Ducati belonged to me. I said yes, expecting the usual motorcycle small talk when she said "I was walking by and it just fell over. No one was even around it."
The good news was the only damage was a bent shift lever and broken bar end cap. A few hours and a few hundred dollars later (it is a Ducati after all). I had the bike back on the road a little better than new.
