1983 Yamaha IT490 kickstart lever repair

I tried to start the 490 yesterday and my foot kept sliding off the kickstarter.  Close inspection revealed the lever had worn to the point where the lever was engaging at about a 95 degree angle.  This made it difficult to kick over without my boot sliding off (and getting a chunk taken out of my shin).  The fix was to get out the TIG welder and build up both sides of the lever.  Now it works as intended again.  Phot above is after the fix.  Photo below is before.

New fork boots for my 1983 Yamaha IT490

New fork boots off of EBay.  It's a good idea to protect the fork tubes.

Before -- without boots.

1977 Bultaco M192 MK10 250 Pursang motor back from rebuild.

I just got this back from the builder.  Everything was inspected and replaced if needed.  Piston and and bore were good.  Rings replaced.  New bearings and seals.  New primary chain.  New clutch.  Case was machined to accept new shaft seal.  Now it's time to finish the rest of the bike.
