My Sprint just quit running in the middle of a ride last week. I pulled over, checked that the petcock was on, and hit the starter a couple time. The second time I hit the starter button the starter would not stop running. I disconnected the battery to stop the starter motor. I took the bike back to my shop and identified a bad solenoid. I found a replacement made for a Suzuki on Ebay for $17 with free shipping. It bolts into the existing wholes and works great.

ReplyDeleteWhat's the part number for the Suzuki solenoid?
ReplyDeleteIt's been about 7 years since I replaced the solenoid. I did some searches and couldn't find any info. Sorry I couldn't help more.
