    the Barkbusters (only name I know to call them) are only connected at the bar ends. I never seen them like that before.

      They almost look like the bar-ends I had on my mountain bike.

    I just found this, great pics old moto dude!

    It's actually a brake lever guard, it's used on road racing bikes to prevent someone from accidentally hitting your front brake.
