1946 LaRay Power Bike on display at "The Meet" 2015 Vintage Motorcycle Festival -- Tacoma, Wa.
I have found an unrestored mostly complete La Ray at a swap meet today (8.11.18). Any opinion on value? I know parts will be impossible but I'm more interested in making it roadworthy than restoring. wmikosz@comcast.net
I found an article at bike-urious.com. In the article they referenced a restored one listed on Craigslist for $9,500 and one in poor shape on eBay for $6,500. Hope this helps.
My first bike think I was 14 when I got a new La Ray

ReplyDeleteHow many was made ? I have one in all original running driving condition last stage in 1951
ReplyDeleteI believe only 2,500 were made before the tooling was sold off to pay off debt.
