Coming out of my local REI today I noticed a couple of ADVs (a gentleman standing beside one, and the other with a German Shepard sitting on the back). I spoke to gentleman and found out his name is Greg and the dog's name is Moxie. A dog riding on the back of a motorcycle is not something you see every day. And when that dog is a 75 lb. German Sherman it's even rarer. It turns out that Greg was accompanying Jess Stone and Moxie on a five continent adventure around the world to raise awareness and $100,000 for the Girl Up empowerment program. Jess cam out of the store a few minutes later and introduced herself. She gave me one of her cards and I promised to get the word out. So check out the front and back of the card.
