1970 Maico MC250 sold for $4,000 at the 2016 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
$4000 is a VERY fair price. I love it. needs Maico red color metal flake paint then parked in my living room. I think I would remove the fork boots and front number plate. chrome the frame and handlebars. cover the seat in dark red leather, polished like a shoe. leave everything else on the bike exactly the way it is, no polishing or anything, just waxed.

I don't know why the Maico's don't sell for as much as some of the other bikes. They are still very competitive in vintage MX,
