1980 SWM RS440GS TF1 Enduro sold for $4,125 at the 2020 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
This SWM 440 is very Rare, the 440 first came out in 1981 with plastic tank/off set axle. This is a Rare Pre-Production model from 1980 with metal tank/no off set/and 440 engine. Only 2 of these with 440eng and metal tank were ever made, both stayed in the EU until someone purchased this one at Bonham's Auction in the UK and imported it here to USA recently. The 2 made were used by SWM enduro racing team (not sold originally).I have done the research and this is one of them.
I love it.
