1974 Indian MX76 sold for $2,500 at the 2017 Mecum Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction
$2500 is a very nice price for that bike. it's not like you can just pop on Craigslist and buy one at any moment. and in great condition. it has VERY great style, looks beautiful. it looks perfect. someone got a great bike for a great price. I imagine it painted gray metal flake, large flakes with that Indian decal hand painted by a sign painter in black and white. this is my favorite bike from the auction you have posted so far.

ReplyDeletelooks like the chrome gas cap might have crossed checkered flags? wow.
ReplyDeleteI looked close and I think it's the Indian logo in the same script as the fuel tank.
Deleteoh, I see now
Deletehow do we know this is a MX76 and not a mx74??
ReplyDeleteThe seller listed it as a MX76. I'm simply going off the listing information.
DeleteThe engine case is stamped , and the frame has stamping to designate an mx 76. Mine is stamped WR for wide ratio gears
